Those Feelings of Overwhelm.

Updated: Dec 30, 2021

Let me start with a quote that really resonates with me: "The only way to do great work is to love what you do" ~ Steve Jobs.

Sometimes things get so challenging that it impacts the motivation to persevere and as a result, you have stopped loving what you do.

You've been visualising and meditating. You've been reading all the books you've been told to read. You've been taming the social media dragon and showing up for yourself and your business the way in which you are meant to but you are just not seeing the progress you had anticipated. You aren't experiencing the wildly successful business you thought you would and self-doubt has started to find its way into your thoughts, affecting your confidence. Your motivation is at an all-time low and it feels easier to give up. In your heart of hearts you want to dig deep and keep going but part of you just doesn't want to.

Welcome to the adventures of being an entrepreneur!

Every successful business owner has experienced these very emotions before. First. Take a deep breath (did you know extending your exhales so that they are longer than your inhales can help you relax). Remind yourself of your why. What was it that made you set out on the entrepreneurial adventure? What was the dream you had for yourself, your life, and your business?

I understand how difficult it is when you have been doing everything yourself, and you feel like you don't have enough hours in the day to get to everything you need to, let alone to find the time to train anyone to do it for you.

Maybe it's time to consider working with a Virtual Business Manager or Virtual Assistant.

Not only will it free up your time but suddenly, you have someone on your team, someone who has your back, someone who will listen to your ideas, someone who you can strategise with, and someone who can support you.

I created CAVA for this very reason. This is what I love. It is what I do and it is what sets my soul on fire. My sense of accomplishment is when my clients feel the impact of my support. Virtual Assistants can clear emails, respond to clients, scheduling meetings, rescheduling the meetings that have just been scheduled, updating and maintaining your CRM, invoicing, posting on social media, newsletters... and so much more.

Now that you know your admin is being managed, all you need to think about is what you love and in the words of Steve Jobs; "The only way to do great work is to love what you do".

xoxo Carla
