The best investment you will ever make is in yourself!
The rollercoaster that is otherwise known as Entrepreneurship can be lonely, and at times, overwhelming.
I have, like those who have gone before me, experienced loneliness and imposter syndrome. I have been overwhelmed by self-doubt and consumed with thoughts of not being qualified enough. In these low, low moments, I have registered for one too many memberships, registered for one too many free training webinars, subscribed to receive one too many "freebies", and invested in a significant amount of money in coaching. Some were worth totally worth the investment (coaching) but for the most part, it left me feeling like I'd been robbed of time and money to commit to something I already know.
Frustrated and desperate to find my tribe, my community, my people; I happened to stumble across The C.E.W - The Collective of Extraordinary Women and it has been a game-changer. The C.E.W is exactly the place I needed to be. We are a community of women showing up for ourselves and each other. We have real stories, real challenges, honest accounts of our successes, and our failures, and where we need to do the work. It’s a growth mindset on another level.

The C.E.W has been pivotal in establishing the foundation I've needed to turn my side hustle into a business. Founded by Lucienne Shakir, Master Accredited Coach & Mentor, The CEW is a community of extraordinary women! This community was created by a woman, for women, who are aspirational business owners achieving at least £10K in sales in their businesses, and are looking to grow both personally and professionally. Membership is exclusive, and only ever open to 25 people at a time to ensure commitment to quality over quantity. It's an investment at £250 + Vat per month and truthfully, to date, it's been the best money I've invested in myself and my business. We have live coaching sessions with Lucienne twice a week; first thing on a Monday to set the tone for the week and to be crystal clear on our priorities, and then the last thing on a Friday to reflect on the week. They host an Expert Guest Speaker every other month (hello @LauraHof) to reinforce what we are learning (this month; it's the Wim Hof Method), which alternates with a Masterclass on an area of interest to the community. And, lastly, but certainly not least, is something I love - our book club, and you guessed it, we are indeed reading The Wim Hof method.
