I launched CAVA Executive at the end of February and with fierce determination I intended to make it a success. Leaving the confines of a 9-5, and let's be honest, it never is just a 9-5 when you're supporting CEO's at Board level, I set out on my entrepreneurial adventure. It has been an all-consuming experience to ensure that I am equipped to offer the most well rounded service I can to my clients.
The entrepreneurial rollercoaster as an analogy is so on point! I have had ups and downs. I've wanted to get off. I've screamed, I've cried, I have also suffered from imposter syndrome. Self-doubt really is a terrible affliction and it takes mental work to believe in yourself and your own worth, and doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will!
I've had clients value and appreciate what I've done and have said as much, and have celebrated the impact I have made. I have also had clients who never really seem to say very much at all and clients who consistently challenge me.
I have experienced growth of epic proportions in the last two months and I have learned more about online tools than I ever thought possible. I've completed one course after another and had certificate after certificate awarded to me at the end of each one, is it really any wonder there seems to not be enough hours in the day.
I'm here now, writing, confirming that I have well and truly pushed beyond my comfort zone to be able to grow the way I have and can with absolute conviction say that we grow through what we go through.
